The American Revolution, otherwise also known as American war of Independence, which happened during late 70s, was a huge struggle by thirteen colonies in North America, a revolution which earned them independence from Britain, and made them the United States of America. This revolution established new forms of government, based on ideals adopted by philosophers of the Enlightenment.
