Thesis Statement For Animal Testing

Thesis Statement for Animal Testing

1. There are many instances where lifesaving drugs were invented through experiments that were run on animals, therefore, animal testing should not be shunned as animal testing can open doors to many future cures and treatments.

2. The bodies of animals are not the same as the body of human beings due to which the results that take effect on the bodies of these lab animals might produce unwanted results when it is given to human beings.

3. More than anything else, animal testing is unkind and a lot of pain is inflicted upon the animals and the excuse of improving human lives should be rejected, as the benefits, in no way prevails over the suffering that the animals have to go through.

4. The use of animals to test the safety of certain products and for medical research purposes is immoral, and it should be made a point that the pain and the suffering that are imposed on the animals are just not worth it.

5. It is the fundamental right of the animals to be treated with respect and kindness when these animals are used as tools in laboratories in the name of medical advancements, these right is violated.

6. The tests that the animals go through in the name of medical advancements are oftentimes excruciatingly painful and at times can even cause death, however, they are never given the option of not participating in the experiment, which is morally unacceptable.

7. Animals do not want medical advancements at the expense of their lives, we human beings thrust them to macabre experiments because of their inability to vocalize their wills- this should stop as it is an outright violation of the rights of these animals.

8. This subjection of animals to agonizing pain and slow painful deaths for the selfish purpose of medical advancements should immediately be shunned because the wasting of animal lives through cosmetic testing and various forms of research are just not worth it.

9. Taking the fate of animals upon our hands and subjecting them to unimaginable pain in the name of medical research has to stop, and in this day and age, the animal testing is completely needless as there are feasible alternatives.

10. Laboratory animals are almost tortured to death to extract information for the ultimate welfare of the human beings, to us exploiting these animals for our benefits is completely justifiable- as the superior mammalian species, it is our responsibility to treat them well.

11. Animal testing should at once be shirked as it is an outright violation of animal rights- it is immoral to subject them to pain as there are other modes to test the toxicity of a product.

12. Humans are animals as well- this thought should be extended to all the non-human creatures that lose their lives by being exploited by the human beings.

13. The society believes that human beings are more important than any other creature, which is why it is more ethical to use animals to test rather than human beings; it must be understood that it is not the intention of scientific experiments to hurt or kill animals, the experiments are carried out entirely keeping in mind the ultimate benefit of the human race.

14. Animal testing has a major role in the advancement of medical science and as a consequence, the human life has improved, therefore, instead of restricting the use of animals for medical purposes, we should think about all the vaccines and antibiotics that have come from all the animal testing.

15. The people who root for animal testing to end are failing to understand the gravitas of it and are turning a blind eye to all the vaccines and antibiotics that have come due to animal testing.

16. In the light of the technological advancement that we have achieved, using animals for testing cosmetics or for medical research and putting them through unimaginable torture is just pointless, as there are more viable alternatives that produce similar results.

17. Humans have psychological and genetic similarities with animals such as mice and rats which make them optimal for use in various experiments, and restricting the use of such animals for scientific testing would only limit the progress of medical research.

18. Animals are exploited by human beings in the name of medical research as they lack the ability to fight back and as a result, they suffer needlessly; in the light of today's world tests on animals are only diverting the attention from other viable means of research, therefore it should be stopped at once.

19. In no way can animal research guarantee that the drugs will have similar effects on the human beings that it had on animals, assuming the reaction of one species by analyzing the effects on another species in the light of today's world is ridiculous.
