Acceptance of Terms
Through use of the Website and/or use of the Company's services, Clients acknowledge that the Terms of Service have been fully read and understood and agree to be bound by these terms.
General and Use
Through submitting an Order and/or by providing payment, Clients purchase a limited personal non-transferable license from Prescott Papers for one use of the Order for personal and noncommercial use only. Rights and license for use are not assignable or transferable to other individuals or entities. Products are intellectual property that are owned by the Company. Products are created by freelance writers who have transferred all ownership, rights, and intellectual property to the Company. Except as otherwise indicated below or elsewhere on the Website, payments for services are not refundable, nor are warranties provided.
Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs)
All Orders completed have been written by the Company's freelance writers. Copyrights for written and other works are owned by the Company. Orders purchased from the Company grant the Client a non-exclusive license for the use of the Order for only personal, non-commercial use. Orders completed by the company cannot be redistributed, transmitted, modified, or used to create derivative works without prior explicit written consent from the Company.
You are responsible for any losses suffered by the Company due to unauthorized usage of Orders completed by the Company.
It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure that materials provided to Prescott Papers do not infringe intellectual property rights and any other relevant and applicable laws.
The Website is the sole property of Prescott Papers. All intellectual property rights of the Website are owned and licensed to the Company, Prescott Papers. You may not use any of the intellectual property or content of the Website through copying, disseminating, or downloading the Website's content for personal or for-profit use.
Sources used in Orders are not provided in their entirety to Clients. Instead, sources are cited based on the formatting requirements indicated in Your Order instructions including inline citations and reference pages as needed by the formatting preferences indicated by the Client. Collection and delivery of materials is a different service provided by the Company at a separate fee.
Clients agree that they will not defame, threaten, abuse, harass, harm, insult, stalk, or otherwise conduct themselves inappropriately and/or illegally toward Prescott Papers' support members, contractors, and other affiliates. Harassment or other inappropriate conduct toward any parties is grounds for any action that Prescott Papers deems appropriate at the sole discretion of the Company. Such action may include immediate termination or cancellation of any open orders with no refund; refusal to complete edits, extensions, or changes to existing orders; and/or any other action deemed appropriate by the Company.
Products created and distributed from the company are intended as reference materials, educational materials, and as examples for research. Information and ideas used from Products ordered must be cited correctly.
Clients are prohibited from submitting any Orders for academic credit under the Client's own name. It is expressly against the terms of service to use any of the Company's services in any way that will violate honor codes, academic requirements, or other policies of any academic institutions with which the Client is affiliated. Violation of the terms of service through submitting an Order for academic credit waives any right that Clients may have related to continued support for their Order. The Company shall not be held liable for any harms or damages associated with such prohibited use of Orders.
Resources / References
In the case that Your Order requires the usage of materials that are not easily accessible to the general public, You are responsible for providing access to the needed materials to Us at the time that the Order is placed. This includes, but is not limited to: course texts, in part or in full; assignment instruction documents; the full text of required references; and other materials as relevant.
In the case that course materials are not provided, either in part or in full, the Company is not liable for any associated harms or damages. We reserve the right to use materials available to us to address missing information, such as through use of online resources, earlier editions of textbooks, and excerpts from similar resources.
In the case that the needed materials are not provided, it is considered that the terms of service have been violated. The Company reserves the right to take any action that it considers necessary to address the violation, including cancellation of Your Order, refusal to complete the Order by the initially stated deadline, refusal to provide free editing and revision, and/or refusal to complete the Order in its entirety.
Delivery of Orders
A copy of Your Order will be sent via email to the email address You have provided. Alternate delivery methods can be discussed with Our support team and are subject to approval. You may request additional copies of previous Orders, which can be delivered at no additional charge when available. We do not guarantee that copies of Orders will be kept on file after their initial delivery.

Payment and Security
Payment is to be made through PayPal, a secure third party that handles all payments for the Company. Clients are not required to create an account with PayPal to complete transactions with the Company. In the case that an alternate method of payment is desired, Our support team should be contacted. We reserve the right to reject requests for alternate payment methods.
For projects classified as custom writing or editing and revision, a PayPal invoice will automatically be sent to the email address You provided. You must make payment before work on Your Order will begin. In the case that payment is not received, or that payment is delayed, the Company reserves the right to cancel or delay Your Order. The Company reserves the right to alter any automated price quotes and invoices sent by our automated systems.
For projects that are not classified as custom writing or editing and revision or that must be examined by Our team for a price quote, an automated invoice will not be sent. Instead, Your Order will be sent to Our support team. Our team will evaluate Your instructions to determine the cost for Your Order. You will be invoiced for the cost of Your Order as determined by the Company. Payment is required in such cases before work begins.

Changes to Orders
Changes to Existing Order Instructions
After an Order has been placed, changes may be requested by the Client by contacting Our support team. If the changes requested to the instructions will cause additional work or will require work already completed to be changed or removed, charges may apply; Our support team will notify You of such charges.
Revisions and Changes to Completed Orders
In the case that a concern regarding an Order completed arises, Clients are entitled to place a request for free editing and revision within ten (10) days of the deadline provided by the Client for the Order. This policy does not extend past these ten (10) days.
All requests for free revisions will be evaluated by Our support team to determine whether they are legitimate. Edits needed because insufficient or incomplete information was provided to the Company upon placing the Order do not qualify for free revision. It is the responsibility of the Client to provide full, accurate, and detailed instructions for orders. Requests for edits that are based on instructions not provided prior to work being approved to start are subject to additional costs. We reserve the right to reject a request for free revision for any reason.
In the case that revision requests will involve extending a project beyond the length agreed upon in the initial order, charges will apply at normal rates for additional writing and/or hourly work. Prior to beginning work, Our support team will advise You as to whether such charges apply and what these charges will be.
In cases where free revisions, edits, and extensions are not available, paid revision, editing, and new work can be ordered from the Company. The Company will alert You to the cost of such changes prior to commencing work.
Extending or Improving Projects Beyond the Original Instructions Submitted
Requests to improve or extend a paper or project beyond the original order instructions are subject to additional fees to be decided at the sole discretion of the company.
Rewrites, in part or in full; the addition of new content; any changes based on subjective perceptions of quality or ambiguous criteria; and other requests for reasons that could not reasonably be anticipated by the originally submitted instructions will have additional costs.
Dissertations, Capstones, Theses, and Other Large Projects
Clients placing orders for dissertations, long term projects in multiple parts, or other large projects should be aware that such projects may be scrutinized to find areas of improvement outside of the scope of the original order. Because these projects are often reviewed by many parties; are subject to constantly changing and often contradictory feedback; and are an extended, ongoing process, such requests are separate from the cost of your original order. Prescott Papers will instead provide you with a quote for this new work at the time of any new requests.
Editing and revision for large projects are billed separately for large projects.
Dissertations, theses, capstone projects, books, and other similar large projects do not qualify for free revision. These projects:
- Are reviewed by multiple parties who often have contradictory or mutually exclusive feedback.
- Are subjective in nature. While a three page English paper will generally have an explicit rubric, the quality and content of a 50 page dissertation is not objective.
- Are expected to receive feedback. A short paper is a process that is expected to last for only days or up to a few weeks and will generally require minimal or no editing as long as the basic rubric is met. In contrast, large projects are expected to go on for months or even years; dissertation committees and other similar review boards will provide you with feedback for changes regardless of the content and quality of your project because these projects are expected to be an ongoing process.
Because of these reasons, free editing and revision is unable to be provided for such projects.
Clients should expect to receive feedback and requests for changes on such large projects. By placing an order or using Prescott Papers' services, clients explicitly agree that they understand that editing and revision for large projects is billed separately. No refunds are available for such projects.
Clients may request turnaround for changes by a specific date and time, which is subject to approval from the Company. If no turnaround deadline is provided by the Client, the Company will propose a schedule for delivery. In the case that the size or extent of revisions is large or excessive relative to turnaround time requested by the Client, the Company reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary at the Company's sole discretion including rejecting the Client's turnaround deadline and proposing an alternate deadline to be approved by the Client; requiring payment of additional fees to expedite the process; or refusal to complete edits in their entirety.
Multiple and Follow-Up Requests for Changes
Further edits, extensions, and other changes may be requested after a first set of changes. These requests are subject to approval at the Company's sole discretion to determine whether they are legitimate. The same guidelines for turnaround time and legitimacy apply to follow-up requests as apply for initial requests for changes.
If an Order has been submitted and paid for, but not yet delivered by the Company, a cancellation can be requested. In the case that a cancellation of an Order is desired, the Client should contact Us with the request as soon as possible. If work has not yet been begun on the project, We may be able to cancel Your Order with a full refund. If a refund is not available for a cancellation, the cancellation may still be placed; however, no refund will be offered. The Company reserves the right to determine whether or not any refund is to be granted for cancellations at Our sole discretion.
Refunds are not available in any circumstance once work has begun on your project. Clients acknowledge that all fees, paid in part or in full, are non-refundable.
In the case that there is ever an issue with a project or something with an order that a Client would like to have revisited, dispute resolution is available exclusively through requests for changes. Refunds are unavailable in part or in full for any reason. To resolve disputes, Clients may request changes to be done by our team.
Declining to use the support for edits provided does not change the policy on refunds. This is true regardless of the reason for declining to use support for edits including the inability of a Client to provide the Company with a turnaround time to complete changes deemed suitable by the Company.
Requests for changes are subject to the terms outlined in the section of this terms of service agreement on Changes to Orders.
